Chin Lee @ Bedok

Dad decided to bring us all to Chin Lee for dinner on my birthday. Another Chinese restaurant? I thought with doubt. I guess the menu didn't do much to help me look forward to the meal either:

Needless to say, we decided to skip the clayfish and omellettes. (Anyway, I believe that oyster omelette should be eaten in a grimy, hot and stuffy kopitiam).
But I did want to eat the crispy fried prawn with oak:

Here's our dinner spread:

Yum! I must say that the cold crab was so sweet and eggy-rich that my mood and anticipation lifted significantly. Beautiful dinner. I was so stuffed I could not take dessert.
