Smelly Sotong

Been some time since I blogged, because work has been hectic. So I’m releasing some repression today.

This is the smelly sotong I cooked last week (I think). I defrosted it in the fridge and promptly forgot about it. It was a few days later before I cooked it, so it was smelly smelly smelly. I also made the mistake of chopping garlic AFTER cutting the sotong, and without washing the knife or chopping board. So the smelly sotong pervaded even the vegetables. The herbal soup (can’t really be seen in the photo) was too bitter because I added one honey-date too few. The rice was too hard – not enough water.
Failed dinner. Bleah…
